We believe strongly that we have to give back to the community
that supports us. Mims Distributing sponsors a number of charities
and events throughout the year. Mims was one of the original
sponsors of the annual Walk for Hope, which raises money to
promote research aimed at discovering the causes and potential
cures for mental illness in order to develop a more effective
means of treatment. We also support the Frankie Lemmon School,
which was the first preschool in Wake County specifically
designed for children experiencing delays in development.
Our company is involved with numerous other causes as well,
including United Cerebral Palsy.
