Mims Distributing has been a Miller Brewing Company distributor since 1964. We are proud of our partnership with the Milwaukee, WI brewer, and offer many great brands from them.
In 2007, Mims received the prestigious High Life Achievement Award from Miller. The yearly award recognizes the top Miller distributors in the nation, based on sales and distribution criteria. We are honored to be so recognized among our peers.
 In the past decade, there has been a renaissance in the American
brewing world. Many regional brewers have come into their
own, offering unique and flavorful brands and styles. We count
among our portfolio some of the best the nation has to offer.
In 2007, Mims was awarded the Newbie Award from Magic Hat. The brewery selects one new
distributor each year that has demonstrated outstanding performance in its first full year of sales. We are very proud to be so honored by our partners at Magic Hat.
Beers from around the globe have become an important component
of our consumers’ range of choices. They range from
delicious crisp lagers to wonderful stouts and ales. We
are fortunate to represent some of the greatest brewers
in the world.
We are committed to doing our part to reduce
drunk driving and prevent underage access to beer. Miller
Brewing Company’s “Live Responsibly” program
provides resources for us and for people in our community
to encourage the enjoyment of our beers in a responsible
manner.
We are a proud member of two organizations
that represent beer wholesalers. In North Carolina, the
North Carolina Beer and Wine Wholesalers Association is
a non-profit organization whose main purpose is to protect
and uphold the rights of the beer and wine industry in North
Carolina. Nationally, the National Beer Wholesalers Association
provides leadership which enhances the independent malt
beverage wholesale industry and encourages responsible consumption
of beer.
